KROUND Terms of Use

KROUND provides information on Korean places and routes, video and card-news content, digital experiences, partner booking links, and related account features. Some experimental features may be indicated on-screen as being in trial operation.

• Users must provide accurate information and keep their account access credentials secure.
• Users under the age of 14 may not create an account or use features that require personal data without the consent of their legal guardian.
• Do not use another person’s account, photos, or contact information without authorization.

Users can request account deletion from their profile and may withdraw the request before processing begins. KROUND will verify identity, outstanding bookings or reports, and legal retention obligations, then delete or anonymize account data. Materials subject to retention obligations may be retained separately from account information and limited to the purpose and period required by law.

Rights in the service’s editorial content, design, trademarks and software are owned by KROUND or the rightful rights holders.

Users retain ownership of materials they post or upload. Users must grant KROUND the necessary rights to process those materials to provide, display and review the service.

• Automated repeated requests, vote manipulation, abnormal uploads, or actions that cause undue costs
• Posting illegal or harmful content, malware, or materials that infringe others’ rights
• Circumventing service security, unauthorized data collection, or impersonating other users
• Deception, harassment, non-consensual image synthesis of real persons, or generating results for illegal purposes using AI features

Booking requests are sent to the selected partner and are not confirmed until the partner accepts. If KROUND is not the seller or the entity that fulfills the booking, the interface will indicate this distinction and the partner’s terms on changes, cancellations and refunds will apply.

Booking codes grant reservation verification authority, so users must keep them secure. External services such as map navigation, YouTube and payment providers are also subject to their respective providers’ terms.

AI outputs do not guarantee real people, products, or medical effects and may be inaccurate. They should not be used alone for important decisions. KROUND may restrict or discontinue such features if safety, cost, or rights-infringement risks are identified.

KROUND may temporarily limit services for security, legal compliance, fault response or operational needs. Except for willful misconduct or gross negligence, liability for damages caused by third-party services, user fault, or force majeure is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Important changes will be announced in the service before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes will be resolved in the courts with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
